Accelerate Microfluidic and Flow Chemistry Development: From Concept to Custom Micromixers in Record Time

🔄 The Power of Rapid Iteration in Microfluidic Design

Today I'm excited to share our streamlined approach to custom micromixer development that's transforming how we solve complex fluid handling challenges.

In the video below, watch how we take our clients' mixing challenges from concept to functional prototype in just weeks:

1️⃣ Creating precise CAD models tailored to specific mixing requirements

2️⃣ Performing computational fluid dynamics simulations to predict performance

3️⃣ Rapidly fabricating prototypes using high-precision additive manufacturing

4️⃣ Testing in real-world conditions to validate performance

🚀 Customer Success Story: Solving a Low Flow Rate Challenge

Recently, we partnered with a client struggling with a particularly challenging mixing application requiring extremely low flow rates (<1 ml/min). They had a poor performance of their continuous process and they wanted to investigate the influence of mixing efficiency.

Through 4 design iterations completed within few weeks, we developed a custom 3D-printed micromixer with specialized geometry that achieved high mixing efficiency at their target flow rate. This solution was implemented without causing any delay to their project timeline.

💡 Why Our Approach Works:

High-precision additive manufacturing allows us to:

  • Create complex 3D internal features as small as 200 µm
  • Test multiple design variations simultaneously
  • Rapidly implement refinements based on real-world testing
  • Deliver production-ready solutions in a fraction of the traditional development time

The days of waiting months for traditional microfabrication are gone. Our approach leverages the latest in 3D printing technology to solve your most demanding microfluidic challenges efficiently and cost-effectively.

Have a challenging mixing application? Let's discuss how our rapid prototyping approach can accelerate your development timeline.
